Easter: Resurrection Sunday - 4/4/2021
Scripture Readings
We are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit as we live according to the Scriptures. As a community, we value, read, and apply God's word. During our Easter service, we will be reading the scriptures below.
Isaiah 52:13-15, Isaiah 53:1-6, 11-12
Mark 8:31, Mark 15:25-47
Mark 16:1-20
Baptism
Baptism is one of two ceremonial acts that we see modeled in the Bible. John the Baptist preached a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins - with water baptism being the symbolic act representing the individual's inner commitment. (Col. 2:13-15) As the Scriptures teach, we believe that baptism is a powerful moment of identification with Jesus and confessing your faith in him within community.
Worship
We make space (Jn. 4:23-24; Acts 13:2) to encounter God’s active presence together (Eph. 5:18-20; 1 Cor. 14:26; 2 Cor. 3:17-18). We exist to worship God with our whole selves, individually and corporately.
